Is shipping free?+
Yes, orders over $300 ship free within the contiguous US. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays) from our distribution centers in Florida, Texas and California. Estimated transit is 1–10 business days depending on destination. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.
How does LTL freight delivery work?+
Your system ships palletized and shrink-wrapped on an insured LTL freight truck, with insurance included at no extra cost. The carrier calls you to schedule a delivery appointment, so a valid phone number is required, and an adult (18+) must be present to sign. Missed or refused deliveries may result in storage, redelivery and return shipping fees.
What should I do when my shipment arrives?+
Count the cartons and inspect them before the driver leaves. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt and take photos. Signing without noting damage means the order was received in acceptable condition. Concealed damage must be reported within 3 days of delivery.
What is your return policy?+
Unused products in the original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Contact us first for a return authorization (RA), then ship the order back within 14 days of the RA. A restocking fee of at least 20% applies, up to 100% depending on condition, and return shipping is the customer's responsibility. We do not offer exchanges or accept partial returns. Refunds go to the original payment method, typically 3–10 business days after inspection.
What warranty do mini splits come with?+
Coverage is provided by the manufacturer. Cooper & Hunter and Bravo mini splits carry a 7-year limited compressor warranty and a 5-year limited parts warranty. PTAC and through-the-wall units carry a 1-year warranty. The exact term is listed on each product page. Systems must be installed by a licensed HVAC contractor and registered with the manufacturer.
How do I choose the right size?+
Use our BTU calculator: room size, ceiling height, sun exposure and occupants give you the cooling capacity you need. As a rule of thumb, plan on 25–40 BTU per square foot. Or call (844) 558-6388 and a specialist will help.
Single zone or multi zone?+
A single zone system conditions one room with one indoor unit. A multi zone system runs several indoor units from one outdoor unit, so each room gets its own control. Our configurator, Build your HVAC system, helps you compare setups.
Do I need a licensed installer?+
Yes. Mini splits must be installed by a licensed HVAC technician, and manufacturer warranty coverage depends on it. Line sets and accessories can be added on the product page.
