Hyper Heat Series Description
The Cooper & Hunter Hyper Heat 3-Zone Mini Split System features 3 Ceiling Cassette zones rated at 12,000 Btu/h, 18,000 Btu/h, and 18,000 Btu/h, paired with an outdoor unit rated for 36,000 BTU nominal cooling and capable of operation down to -22°F ambient temperature for cold-climate winters. It includes built-in Wi-Fi control, uses R454B refrigerant, and achieves a SEER2 efficiency rating of 23.

This is a 3-zone system: one CH-RHP36M-230VO outdoor unit powers two 18,000 Btu/h Ceiling Cassette zones, one 12,000 Btu/h Ceiling Cassette zone, each with its own remote so every room sets its own temperature. The outdoor unit connects up to 5 indoor units total.
How well does it heat in cold weather?
It's a Hyper Heat inverter heat pump rated to keep heating down to -22°F outdoor ambient, still producing 36,000 Btu/h of heat at 5°F — built for cold-climate winters.
What's included in the box?
The CH-RHP36M-230VO outdoor condenser (36,000 BTU), two× 18,000 Btu/h indoor unit (CH-RH18MCT), one× 12,000 Btu/h indoor unit (CH-RH12MCT), and the built-in Wi-Fi Smart Kit. At checkout you add a line-set installation kit (copper line set, communication cable, drain line) for each zone.

208/230V single-phase power on a dedicated circuit for the outdoor unit — minimum circuit ampacity 37 A, maximum breaker/fuse 40 A. Have a licensed electrician confirm your panel.
How far can the indoor units be from the outdoor unit?
Up to 262.4 ft of line total across all zones, and up to 114.8 ft to any single indoor unit. It ships pre-charged for 125 ft.
